Native America Today is a discussion-based seminar in which students investigate how Native North Americans have maintained their communities and asserted their individuality within the changing social conditions and geopolitical landscape of the United States and Canada. Through study of traditional and contemporary arts, poetry, short fiction, film, and legal and political texts, we explore Native North American perspectives on life in the 21st century.
