Science and technology are very prevalent in our lives, however, there is a new threat to it: science denial. In this class we will learn about the scientific method and how to assess if a reference is scholarly and reliable. Students will investigate examples of science denial from climate change to the safety of vaccines. Students will research a conspiracy theory and present research on how to counter it with sound science.
